History

Calvary Alliance Church started as a Ministry to Hmong at Calvary Baptist Church in MN in 1985. Mr. Kevin Walton was the person who taught and help minister to the Hmong people at Calvary Baptist Church. Gradually the Hmong families became members of Calvary Baptist Church. And in 1989 Rev. T. Cher Moua was asked to come and help teach a Sunday School class for the Hmong members in the Congregation.

Then in 1990 the Hmong members decided to leave Calvary Baptist to become an independent church known as Calvary Alliance Church.  In 10/3/1990 Calvary Alliance Church became an accredited church of the Hmong District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. Church services were held in the afternoon at Faith Alliance Church located at 550 N. Howard St. Saint Paul, MN from 1990 – 2017.

Today, CAC meets at Lake Phalen Community Church and is a vibrant church with a strong emphasis on Preaching the word of God Expositionally, Equipping the believers to know the Word so that they can share it with those they come into contact with, Mentoring the believers in one on one or group setting to develop the whole person into a faithful instrument for God’s use.
